Smithbilt Hats has been selling and manufacturing hats in Calgary since 1919. Our company is internationally recognized and is famous for producing the Calgary Tourism white hat a symbol of western hospitality and the iconic Calgary Stampede. Smithbilt Hats have had the honor of being presented to visiting dignitaries, celebrities and royalty.
We have become known for our core Western Hat business but did you know that we also design and produce men’s fedoras and dress hats at the factory in Calgary. HOLLY ALLEN™ has recently joined the Smithbilt design team to develop and create women’s head wear lines.

Hats are beginning to trend again. Skin health and changes in climate make head wear a prerequisite to minimize skin damage. With the marriage of Kate and William royalty has once again taken the lead in fashion and fashion head wear. Whether it be social outings like polo, horse racing, charitable fundraisers or for daytime dress or casual wear, a variety of hat styles can be seen emerging back onto the fashion scene.
